Berdnik was selected for the award due to his exceptional work as a school business official and his engagement with the school district and students, district officials said.

Pennsbury Superintendent Dr. Thomas Smith praised Berdnik’s achievement, stating, “Mr. Berdnik’s exceptional work as a school business official and engagement with the school district and students make him a well-deserving winner of PASBO’s highest recognition.”
