The Home Depot on Commerce Boulevard is expected to get a Rocco’s Italian Sausage and Cheesesteaks location in May, according a PhillyBurbs article on a similar expansion in Upper Bucks County.

The shops sell breakfast sandwiches, cheesesteaks, sausage sandwiches, and other meals. Their customer are largely contractors and other visiting Home Depot, according to articles.

Rocco’s Italian Sausage and Cheesesteaks already operates locations at Home Depots in Philadelphia and in the New York City area.

Rocco’s Italian Sausage and Cheesesteaks was founded in the early 1990s by native New Yorker Rocco Guardino outside of a Home Depot, according to an Eater NY article.

By the 2000s, Guardino moved to Philadelphia Home Depots and found early success. Guardino’s friend Daniel Winter, who opened the Philadelphia locations, told news organization Billy Penn the locations in Pennsylvania were quickly successful.

Billy Penn reported the New York-based business incorporated cheesesteaks into their menu because they’re an easy-to-make meal.

The Tullytown Borough Home Depot was not listed as a future location for Rocco’s Italian Sausage and Cheesesteaks, but a representative for the business said more expansion in Bucks County is possible.
