The gift will help expand supply chain education and employment prospects for students in the county and create the groundwork for an extensive, multi-year program for career readiness. It is the largest single corporate investment the community college has received in its 60-year existence, according to a statement.
The donation is anticipated to provide scholarships for local students who have shown a desire to pursue a two-year associate’s degree in supply chain at Bucks County Community College, either on-campus or online. At the Estée Lauder Companies’ facilities in Bristol Township, students will get the chance to engage in hands-on learning experiences that will give them practical knowledge of supply chain, production, and distribution processes, according to the community college.
Leaders from The Estée Lauder Companies will also act as mentors for these youngsters.
