There’s often a deal to be had at Total Liquidators, but Bristol Borough won’t be the place to find one at the start of the new year.

Total Liquidators, a discount variety store known for selling big box store overstocks, announced that its store in the former Walmart in Bristol Park on Commerce Circle will close its doors on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The company said the store will have “amazing sales” up until closing and all orders placed via phone must be picked up by closing.

The Bristol Borough location opened in October 2020 and replaced a former location in Bensalem Township.

“On a positive note, we will be opening a 15,000 sq ft store in the Bristol/Bensalem area in the month of February. More details to follow in the coming weeks,” Total Liquidators posted on social media.

The business thanked their customers for supporting them.

The company has been in operation for several years and become a prime spot for deal hunters. It operates locations in Warminster Township, Richland Township, and Montgomery County.

Total Liquidators said they will be opening a new store in Montgomery County and a location in New Jersey in 2023.

The 118,000-square-foot Bristol Borough store that was a Walmart before closing in late 2017. Shopping center owner Brixmor leased the building to a flea market before Total Liquidators closed the location.

Prior to Total Liquidators Brixmor, prepared marketing documents pitching the site as a possible fulfillment center. One proposal showed three restaurants could be constructed in the shopping center near the closed Walmart and the demolition of a nearby store to make room for loading docks.
