The museum in Bristol Borough will have stunning Victorian displays on all three floors of the residence-turned-museum for the first time ever.

A set of Lenox china owned by the Quatrocchi Family of Bristol Borough, a collection of nutcrackers collected by Bristol Riverside Theater’s Senior Director of Relationships David Abers, a Byer’s Choice Collection, vintage toys from Canal’s End Antiques, and other goodies are displayed in the classic home.

In the exquisitely restored Grundy family home on Radcliffe Street near the Delaware River, the Victorian Holiday House commemorates an authentic Christmas from the late 19th century.

The museum and Jimmy Bason Gilpatrick, owner of Bird of Paradise Flowers on Mill Street, collaborated once more to adorn the house.

Mary and William Grundy, their daughter Margaret, and their son Joseph, who subsequently became a U.S. senator representing Pennsylvania, lived in the red brick mansion.

The Victorian Holiday House is open through December 22 and space is limited.

The museum personnel said that each visitor will receive a seasonal take-home gift.

The tours are free this year, but reservations for the popular event are required. More information can be found at this link.

The CanDoMore Campaign, which supports the preservation of quality Grundy family textiles, receives 100 percent of the proceeds from the holiday house. The day of the event, as well as at other time, donations are graciously accepted. Information about how to give can be found on the Grundy Foundation website.
