In court papers filed recently, Falls Township police accused Jon Glen Gordon, 51, of Falls Township’s Morrisville section, of attempted aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, accident with damage involving an unattended vehicle or property, driving an unregistered vehicle, vehicle registration suspended, driver without a license, and criminal mischief.
Authorities said that on Wednesday, November 23 around 1:56 a.m. there was a call in the 3000 block of Chandler Drive for a report of a person who attempted to run another over with a vehicle.
Upon arrival at the scene, an officer spoke with two witnesses who identified Gordon and said he was doing burnouts in the 3000 block of Chandler Drive. When they asked what he was doing, he attempted to fight one of the people, police said.

When police located Gordon’s Chevrolet pickup truck, they noted both rear tires were bald and smelled of burnt rubber, authorities said.
Gordon was discovered to have a suspended registration on his vehicle that expired in September. He was discovered to have an expired driver’s license, police said.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Gordon and later arrested him on the charges. He was preliminarily arraigned before on-call District Judge Brian Marriott and held on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
