Two Crashes On Route 13, One Involving Police Car

Two crashes occurred Monday evening along Route 13.

The first crash happened around 6:50 p.m. on Route 13 at Levittown Parkway in Tullytown Borough.

The crash involved a pickup truck and a car. Both suffered serious front-end damage.

According to initial reports, one person had to be cut out from the car by firefighters from the Edgely, Levittown No. 1, and Tullytown fire companies.

A LevittownNow.com reader said the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad was on the scene.

The second crash happened around 8 p.m. on Route 13 at Haines Road in Bristol Township.

A police car and a passenger vehicle collided at the intersection, causing ambulances to respond along with township and Bristol Borough officers.

Bystanders said the police department Dodge Charger suffered bad damage to its front end.

Details on the crash, the cause, and possible injuries weren’t immediately available.

Route 13 was blocked in the area of both crashes for some time and police investigated and cleared up.
