UPDATE: Man Turns Himself In For Robbery Case

A man accused of spraying pepper mace at a Home Depot loss prevention agent Friday during a retail theft was arrested Saturday.

Blaine Clymire Jr., 30, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was preliminarily arraigned late Saturday afternoon before on-call District Judge Kevin Wagner on charges of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and disorderly conduct. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $300,000.

LevittownNow.com readers identified Clymire after police released an image of the suspect from the robbery.

Around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Clymire arrived at the Falls Township Police Station and turned himself in. He said he “robbed the Home Depot,” according to police.

During an interview at the police station, Clymire said he stole a pole saw and needed to sell it to get money to pay for previous citations, authorities said.

The robbery happened Friday around 12:30 p.m. when a man assaulted a staff member at the Home Depot on Commerce Boulevard.

The suspect sprayed pepper mace at a Home Depot loss prevention agent during the course of a retail theft at store, police said.

Surveillance images show the suspect left in a small SUV.

The store, like other home improvement stores, is a constant victim of retail thefts, often of pricey items that can be resold.
