Starting on December 9, the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office will begin again conducting the sales in-person after doing them virtually since April 2021 due to the pandemic.
“With the increase of vaccinated individuals, as well as additional safety precautions, groups are now able to meet in person again,” a statement from the office said.
Sheriff Fred Harran, a Republican, said he has been dedicated to returning the office to pre-pandemic standards and feels in-person sales are a “positive step in the right direction.”

Previous Sheriff Milt Warrell, a Democrat, had moved the sales to Bid4Assets program to keep them going during the pandemic.
Bid4Assets has hosted sheriffโs sales for Montgomery, Monroe, and Berks counties.
