
Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a storage area at a senior living center on the Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township border.

Crews were dispatched to the Oxford Enhanced Senior Living complex on Winchester Avenue around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shed fire.
Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry said the fire was in a shed that was located near storage for oxygen tanks and a building.
Firefighters were able to knock the flames down within a few minutes, the chief said.

No injuries were reported.
The Middletown Township Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.

In addition to the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, the Newtown, Parkland, Penndel, and the William Penn fire company were called. The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad also responded.
