Minor Injuries When Car Hits Pole

A car slammed into a utility pole along West Lincoln Highway Wednesday morning.

Firefighters, medics, and police were dispatched to Weikels Auto Repair in the 1900 block of West Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township around 11:30 a.m. for a report of a crash with fire.

The Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Management said in a statement they arrived to find a one-vehicle crash with only minor injuries.

PECO was called to the scene to look at the damaged pole and wires, the department said.

The road was blocked for some time in the area of the crash.
