Bucks County Division of Human Services’ co-responders and Falls Township police teamed up with a local church to help those experiencing homelessness.

The mission group at Fallsington United Methodist Church in the Fallsington section of Falls Township collected items like gloves, hats, scarves, and sweatshirts in January and February.
The church received an abundance of warm-weather clothing, knitted hats, and blankets, which they offered to officers and the co-responders.
“Teaming up with our faith-based organizations to help the community is always a priority for the Falls Township Police Department,” said Chief Nelson Whitney.

The chief said the idea is to have the co-responders and officers hand out the items to those in need that they encounter when out on the job.
