A Bristol Borough bakery closed Sunday.

Angelina’s Bake Shop in the 300 block of Mill Street announced Saturday they would close “until further notice” on Sunday.

In a statement on their social media page, Angelina’s Bake Shop stated the economic impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure.

“Please know this decision was not taken lightly, as we have prided ourselves in being a bright spot in our community,” the message stated.

Angelina and Sergio Cargitlado opened the bakery in 2019. It was known for serving baked goods and also items like soup.

The bakery’s post thanked their customers and asked them to continue supporting small businesses.

It is with great sadness that we bid you a farewell, as we have made the difficult decision to close our doors Sunday March 13, 2022 until further notice.
