A person was struck and killed by a SEPTA Regional Rail train Friday morning.

The incident happened not far from the station in Bristol Township’s Croydon section around 7 a.m., according to SEPTA.
As of 8:20 a.m., SEPTA service on the Trenton Line was suspended.
SEPTA spokesperson John Golden said there were no injuries on the train.

The striking train was reportedly stopped near Haunted Lane across the border in Bensalem Township.
Initial reports were that the person was struck by the train in Bristol Township, but details on the exact location were still unclear as of 8:30 a.m.

Golden said SEPTA crews were working to resume service.
