The two residents were out of the home by the time fire crews arrived. They were unhurt, Shortt said.
Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the fire was caused by a space heater running in the home.
The home had working smoke alarms that alerted the sleeping residents, the fire marshal said.

Due to the below freezing temperatures, Bristol Township Public Works crews salted Ailanthus Lane to make sure water runoff from the fire scene didn’t cause slick conditions.
The Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Edgely, Levittown No. 1, Levittown No. 2, and Newport fire companies responded, along with the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.
