Two women were charged last week with attacking an off-duty police officer.

On Saturday, December 11 at 6:28 p.m., Bristol Borough cops were called to Naked Brewing Company on Mill Street for a fight in front of the business. Upon arrival, on-duty officers found two women fighting with and screaming at off-duty Officer Mike Levitsky, police said.

A responding officer reported the two women – identified as Vanessa D. Boggi, 45, of Bristol Borough, and Lori Coffman, 51, of Philadelphia – pushed him away. The one woman struck him in the face with her fist, police said.

The women were alleged in court papers to have had the smell of alcoholic beverage coming from them and had blood-shot eyes.

Police said Coffman and Boggi “would not calm down and kept yelling and cursing.”

Additional officers arrived and assisted in detaining Boggi and Coffman, police said.

Coffman failed to follow orders and kicked a responding officer in the groin, police said.

The co-owner of the brewery reported the two women were harassing Levitsky inside the bar before 9-1-1 was called. The co-owner asked the two to leave and one tried to choke her, while another punched her, police said.

Levitsky said he was enjoying beverages at the bar when the two women asked him a question about a local business. Coffman began yelling at him and cursing at him over a past arrest he was involved in, according to police.

Boggi bumped the off-duty officer three times, police said.

As the co-owner went to escort the two women from the brewery, the off-duty office could hear fighting and yelling. He found an altercation and announced he was an officer and tried to break it up, police said.

The two women reportedly punched Levisky in the face. Boggi bit him on the neck, police said.
