Customers were alerted of the closure shortly before it shuttered. A notice advised customers their files were being transferred to Walgreens.

Details on why the longtime business closed were not immediately available.

Through the windows on Friday, many of the shelves at the closed Oxford Valley Pharmacy remained stocked and the sign adorning the building had been removed.
The business had the slogan “people first pharmacy.” The pharmacy’s website stated the business prided themselves on being independent and focused on customers.
