Exactly one year after a person shot and killed a father of nine to death, investigators from Middletown Township and the Bucks County Detectives stood near the scene soliciting tips early Friday morning.
A year out from the December 10, 2020 shooting outside recycling company Kuusakoski Inc.’s Wheeler Way facility, vehicles arriving to the industrial complex were stopped and detectives handed out posters seeking information on the murder of Christopher M. Wilson, 52, of Philadelphia. Detectives braved the cold in hopes of turning up a new tip or lead.

Police know that Wilson was gunned down in the parking lot around 5:45 a.m. while he was waiting to exit his car to begin his work shift. The killer waited for him to arrive before shooting him and then fleeing in a sedan. The motive is believed to be an interpersonal issue.
Authorities have said Wilson was “specifically targeted.”
Middletown Township Detective Lt. Steve Forman said there have been suspects in the crime but detectives need to tie up loose ends. No charges have been filed in the case, but search warrants have been executed as part of the probe.

“Our goal today is to reach out to see what happened. It’s a year later the people here may have see something and they didn’t know. They might not have known then, or they may have heard something from coworkers,” Forman told LevittownNow.com.

“The mistake [the killer] made was doing this in Bucks County,” Forman said. “If this was Philadelphia, this could have been just another homicide.”

The case has never been considered cold, and local authorities have spent thousands of hours digging into it.
The family, according to Forman, has been kept abreast of developments.
Forman, Detective Sgt. Matt Kroiss, and Bucks County Detective David Hanks handed out flyers with information and talked to arriving motorists.
