A local motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Bristol Township’s Levittown section, and the other vehicle fled the scene.
The 35-year-old male motorcyclist from Levittown, whose name wasn’t released, was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday morning, police said.

Investigators said the 35-year-old man was on a 2007 Yamaha R1 sport bike traveling westbound on Mill Creek Parkway when the crash happened in the area of Haines Road around 12:55 a.m.
The other vehicle – believed to be a gray or silver sedan with damage to the passenger-side – fled the scene. The vehicle is also missing a mirror and may have significant damage to its window, police said.
Officers were assisted at the scene with fire police.

The intersection of Mill Creek Parkway and Haines Road were closed for several hours Friday morning as police investigated.
