Man To Get Ticket After Crashing Into Tree

A Philadelphia man will be ticketed after he crashed into a tree in Middletown Township.

In a press release this week, Pennsylvania State Police said the 30-year-old man will be ticketed for driving on roadways laned for traffic following the crash that happened last Monday around 5 p.m. on the ramp from Route 1 southbound to I-295 westbound.

The driver, who was in a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, was on the ramp when he lost control and collided with a tree, state police said.

The Impala was badly damaged, but the driver was not injured, according to trooper.
