The Bucks County Board of Elections has received more than 63,000 applications for mail-in ballots for the November 2 general election.
Mail-in and absentee ballots have to be returned by mail or through 11 county-run drop boxes by 8 p.m. on election day.

Gail Humphrey, the chief clerk for the county, said Wednesday that 63,608 mail-in ballot applications had come through and 19,725 voters have already returned their ballots.
Voters have until a week before election day to request a mail-in ballot.
“I want to urge everyone to get their mail-in ballots back to us,” she said.

Due to the pandemic and high-profile races, Bucks County had approximately 304,000 voters cast ballots by mail last November.
Humphrey on Wednesday highlighted that in-person voting is available for Tuesday, November 2 for those not casting their ballots by mail.

County elections officials recently held poll worker training sessions in Bristol Township, Middletown Township, and in Upper Bucks County. Another training will take place Wednesday in Central Bucks County, Humphrey said.
Poll workers earn about $200 for a full day and $100 for a partial day.
