Bristol Borough police are seeking the suspect who fired shots along Route 13 in July and then fled, leading to a multi-agency tactical team callout.

Bristol Borough police Detective William Davis obtained an arrest warrant for Angel Cintron, 26, of Philadelphia, on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, criminal trespassing, propelling a missile into occupied vehicle, and related offenses Monday from District Judge Daniel Baranowski, according to a court docket.

Cintron is accused of being involved in the alleged road-rage incident that started near the Bristol Borough Post Office and led to Route 13 on the Bristol Borough and Bristol Township border. The incident ended with several shots being fired around 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.

No one was injured by the gunfire, police said.

Cintron drove off and responding officers went to his home along 700 block of Pine Street to see if he was there, according to police.

“Upon arriving, a police officer observed an individual he believed to be Cintron near the residence. A bystander advised the officer that suspect had entered the Pine Street residence. Additional officers were requested and surrounded the residence. Attempts to have the subject exit the house went unanswered,” police said in a statement confirming the arrest warrant on Monday.

After no one answered the door at the house, police activated a tactical team that drew officers from several nearby towns.

After about six hours of tactical officers surrounding the home, entry was made once a search warrant was obtained about 3 a.m. Officers broke out a window, used a drone, and deployed a robot. Cintron was not located.

“The lengthy subsequent investigation determined that Cintron had gone to a neighboring residence and pushed his way inside. The neighbor insisted that Cintron leave but he refused. The neighbor, fearing Cintron, fled the residence, however did not alert authorities until questioned at a later time.  It is believed Cintron remained in the residence until early morning the next day until all police assets left Pine Street,” police revealed Monday.

At the time of the incident, police said they believed Cintron was no longer in the neighborhood after the suspect’s home was found to be empty.
