UPDATE: More Information Released On Road-Rage Shooting That Led to SWAT Response

After several hours of a tactical team attempting to make contact with an apparent barricaded subject, officers found no one inside the home in the 700 block of Pine Street in Bristol Borough.

The male suspect, who was wanted for an alleged road rage incident that ended with shots fired, was not located early Wednesday morning, but his car was found at the address, according to Bristol Borough police Chief Steve Henry.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was being sought by officers as of 3:15 a.m.
Officers staged at the address and took up positions around it beginning around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The road rage incident happened around 8 p.m. and was called into Bristol Township police, Henry said.
There were rumors on social media that three people, including kids, were being held hostage, but Henry said that was untrue.

Officers busted out a window to the home and threw a phone connected to negotiators.
Shortly after, a drone was used to inspect the home and members of the Bucks County South Emergency Response Team went into the residence around 3 a.m. and did not locate anyone.
In addition to Bristol Borough police, the Bucks County Detectives were on scene along with Bensalem Township, Bristol Township, Falls Township, and Tullytown Borough police. Fire police assisted on the scene.

The standoff in the 700 block of Pine Street in Bristol Borough remained underway just before midnight Tuesday.

Officers from Bensalem, Bristol, and Falls townships were spotted assisting borough police.
A drone was deployed above the house where the incident was happening shortly after downpours from a thunder and lightning storm moved through.

A neighbor said it appeared an armored truck was brought in.
Command trucks were set up near the scene.

Police from multiple towns were engaged in a standoff with a subject Tuesday night.

The standoff was underway on Pine Street in Bristol Borough as of 9:45 p.m. and a regional SWAT team had responded. Sources said the incident began earlier in the evening.
Roads in the area of the scene were reported to be blocked off as of 10 p.m.
