Several board members said they appreciated Minniti’s work in Bristol Borough.
Minniti was hired by the Bristol Borough School District in 2019.
Minniti’s departure from the district comes after she filed a police report following an April incident involving Chichilitti. The incident between Chichilitti and Minniti happened at the high school. According to sources with knowledge of the incident, Chichilitti blew up at Minniti.

The superintendent ended up engaging an attorney who sent a letter to board members. The attorney and Minniti declined to comment at the time when asked about a letter. The letter sent to board members, the contents of which were reviewed by this news organization, made allegations Chichilitti had taken part in “egregious behavior” against the superintendent, spoke of turning down her potential pay raises, and threatened to have other impacts on her job.
In the letter, Minniti asked the school board to remove Chichilitti from his leadership role and censure him. It also called for training on the roles school board members have in district operations.

Police took a report of the incident but no charges were filed.
In mid-May, district Solicitor David Truelove said the “incident has been resolved.”
