On Thursday, Middletown Township Public Works Department crews installed the new bridge that crosses the Mill Creek. The bridge was put onto its footings by a large crane.

Township officials said the bridge will be completed this summer.
The previous bridge over the creek was closed in 2020 after it was deemed to be in “structural failure.”
Middletown Township spent $48,039 with Contech Engineered Solutions for the new bridge.

Middletown Township Building and Zoning Director Pat Ennis said last year that the new bridge is wider than the previous span and meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility regulations.
