Altering hours and days for enforcement of Bristol Borough’s parking meters and blocking the feeding of feral cats are being considered.

On Monday evening, Bristol Borough Council voted to advertise an adjustment to the parking meter ordinance.

Presently, the borough enforces the parking meters Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Under the proposed change, the enforcement would take place seven days per week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There was not a proposed change to the fee of 25 cents per half-hour.

The council also approved advertising a change to borough code that would ban residents from feeding feral cats, a problem in parts of the borough.

The proposed changes will be voted on at an upcoming meeting.
