Bucks County will be closing the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic in Bristol Township.
The large vaccination site at Bucks County Community College’s Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks on Veterans Highway in Bristol Township will close on Saturday, May 29, county officials announced.

The county-overseen COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics in Bensalem Township, Newtown Township, just outside of Perkasie, and Warwick Township will remain open.
The Bristol Township site opened as a testing location in winter and transitioned to a mass vaccination clinic in February. It has been overseen by AMI Expeditionary Healthcare, which has been contracted to run the vaccination clinics by the county using federal funds.
AMI Expeditionary Healthcare will operate the other county-run clinics as Bucks County Health Department staff will focus on pop-up vaccination clinics, education, and other outreach.

Starting next Tuesday, June 1, the four county-supported COVID-19 inoculation clinics will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
“Walk-ins are welcomed at all sites, and the public will have a choice between the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the two-dose Pfizer vaccine,” officials said.

While the county’s COVID-19 vaccination effort is among the most high-profile in the area, it certainly hasn’t been the only one. Hospitals, medical providers, and pharmacies have been administering thousands of doses to Bucks Countians for months. In recent weeks, vaccine doses have been more available.
As of Monday, more than 320,000 people in the county have received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose and 232,000 people are fully vaccinated. The county-overseen sites have administered about 140,000 of those doses.
Across the state, more than 51 percent of eligible Pennsylvanians have been vaccinated.
