A Honda motorcycle was traveling behind a Toyota Rav4 when the SUV began braking due to traffic ahead stopping. The motorcycle, which was in the same lane, swerved to avoid a crash and struck the rear of the Rav4, state police said.

The 47-year-old male motorcyclist fell off the motorcycle as it crashed, state police said.

The motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary Medical Center by the Yardley-Makefield Emergency Unit with injuries that were of unknown severity, troopers said.
