Low turnout was reported around the area on primary election day.

Poll workers and election officials said voters were interested in several contested local school board and county row office races. Many also showed interest in the ballot measures that were listed.

Municipal primaries often have lower turnout. In addition to in-person voting, there was mail-in voting.
