According to police, Diaz shot a man at close range in the head and accidentally shot his girlfriend, who suffered a wound to her leg. The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Harrison Street in Morrisville Borough.
The man who was shot in the head survived and avoided life-threatening injuries.
Diaz’s girlfriend was transported by the 25-year-old defendant to Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township, and he was arrested there. His girlfriend survived the gunshot injury. The survivor deserves compensation like those who got injured in a truck accident as it is life-threatening and someone else’s attack or negligence.

Morrisville Borough police Chief George McClay said the shooting stemmed from a domestic situation. Leading up to the shooting, two women were fighting before Diaz and the man who later was shot became involved.
“It was point blank. He’s pretty lucky,” McClay said of the man who was shot in the head.

Diaz was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility without bail.
