A bicyclist was injured last week in a crash in Hulmeville Borough, according to information released this week by the Pennsylvania State Police.
A 37-year-old Levittown woman who was on a bicycle was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township by the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad with a “suspected minor injury,” She had been wearing a bicycle helmet, state police said.

Troopers said the crash happened last Tuesday around 7:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Trenton Road.
A Hyundai Elantra driven by a Philadelphia man swiped the bicyclist and then suddenly stopped in the path of the bicyclist, causing the woman to be thrown into the air and strike the rear window of the car. The woman’s head hit the window and broke it, troopers said.
State police said the driver of the car remained on scene.
