The Bristol Borough Education Fund has awarded $7,500 to grants for projects and programs recommended by educators.
The members of the Bristol Borough Education Fund met earlier this month to approve the following grants:
- $390 Emotional Support Equipment (Ms. Pizzino, K-3)
- $508 Ladybug Document Camera (Ms. Saxton, K)
- $6,602 STEM Kits (Superintendent Minniti, SGES)

The funds come through endowment growth, teachers’ generous payroll deductions, and fundraising activities.
The Grundy Foundation created the fund in 2008 and has since distributed $95,865 to support school programs in Bristol Borough.
Bristol Borough Education Fund advisors are former school district faculty Barb Olshefsky, Phil Quattrocchi, Deb Fine, current faculty member Michele Hager, and Ron Walker, a borough resident and president of Allied Electronics. Superintendent Dr. Rose Minniti is an ex-officio advisor.
