Winter is almost over.
A clear sign is that PennDOT will begin pothole repairs on area roads after a winter filled with bitter cold temperatures and snow.

PennDOT officials said maintenance and contractor crews will hit more than 60 state roads and highways in the region starting next week.
Crews will fill potholes on Route 13 and its on- and off-ramps in Falls Township and Tullytown Borough; the Newtown Bypass on the Newtown Township and Middletown Township border; Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township; and Lincoln Highway in Falls Township.
“Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent,” PennDOT said in a statement.
