A man wanted for fleeing police and a drug-related case was arrested in Falls Township Tuesday morning.

Mark Steven Scallorn, 39, of Bensalem Township, was arrested at a family member’s home in the 100 block of Lakeside Drive in Falls Township’s Levittown section by the U.S. Marshals Service and officers from the Falls Township, Lower Moreland Township (Montgomery County), and Penndel Borough police departments, Supervisory Deputy U.S Marshal Rob Clark said.

Scallorn was wanted for allegedly fleeing Penndel Borough officers in July 2020 as he fled during a stop along Lincoln Highway.

“During the brief chase, officers observed multiple other traffic violations,” police said at the time.

Lower Moreland authorities wanted Scallorn for a drug possession-related incident from July. A warrant by Montgomery County authorities was filed in October.

Clark said Scallorn was hiding in a closet and briefly struggled with law enforcement.

Scallorn and law enforcement officials were unhurt in the scuffle.
