Falls Township officers were called on Friday, January 29 at 10:23 a.m. to the Pennsbury Woods Apartments on New Falls Road for a domestic incident.

At the scene, a 23-year-old man said he didn’t want to cause problems with the woman at the apartment, so he gathered his belongings and left, police said.

A few minutes later, Bucks County 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call from the women’s cell phone. The call was abandoned, police said.

Several officers responded to the scene and found the woman in the parking lot of the apartment complex with a bleeding laceration on her right hand. She told officers the 23-year-old man was in an altercation with her and cut her with a knife before fleeing with her cell phone, police said.

The 23-year-old man was charged with robbery, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, theft, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge Corryn Kronnage and jailed on 10 percent of $100,000. He was bailed out shortly after his arrest.
