A Falls Township man has been accused of sexually assaulting two young girls.

Falls Township police were called to a home in the Levittown section of the township in July to take a report that Craig S. Hartman, 67, sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl.

At that point, a police investigation began into claim.

In court papers filed this week, police detailed that the 10-year-old girl told them Hartman sexually assaulted her several times at a home in Fallsington. She also said that when she was 9 years old, she was sexually assaulted and raped by Hartman.

The girl also reportedly said Hartman exposed himself to her and masturbated at a local park.

A second girl, who is 9 years old, spoke with police recently.

The second girl alleged Hartman sexually assaulted her numerous times in Falls Township and Middletown Township, police said.

Both girls told a detective they were aware the other had been sexually assaulted by Hartman.

Hartman was charged with a single count of rape of a child and two counts each of aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age, indecent exposure, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor. Hartman was arraigned by District Judge Jan Vislosky Thursday and held on 10 percent of $975,000 bail.
