A Montgomery County man was arrested Friday by Pennsylvania State Police and charged with transporting 75 pounds of marijuana.
A trooper on patrol spotted a white Chrysler Pacifica minivan violate a traffic law Friday afternoon. The trooper initiated a traffic stop on I-95 southbound at the Bristol exit, state police said.

The driver – Peter H. Pyun, 50, of Cheltenham Township – appeared nervous when the trooper approached. He relayed that he was traveling from New York City to Philadelphia and stated there was nothing illegal in the vehicle, state police said.
The trooper noted in court papers that there were a number of boxes in the rear of the minivan.
Bristol Township police Officer Keith Bertram and K-9 Drago were called to the traffic stop. The dog hit on the possible scent of drugs coming from the minivan, state police said.

Pyun agreed to have the minivan searched, troopers said.
A search found 10 cardboard boxes filled with 75 one-pound vacuum sealed bags with suspected marijuana, 10 suspected MDMA pills, a smoking device with a THC cartridge, a cell phone, and $9,963 in cash, according to court papers.

Pyun was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and a traffic offense. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge Daniel Baranoski Friday night and placed in county lockup on 10 percent of $125,000 bail.
