Nick Valla has been promoted to assistant township manager in Middletown Township.
Valla, who started as a management intern in June 2018, began working as a full-time management analyst in April 2019.

The assistant township manager role was vacant before Valla’s recent promotion.
Valla, a central California native, will assist Township Manager Stephanie Teoli Kuhls in overseeing operations.
“From day one, Nick has consistently proven himself as a valuable member of the Middletown Township team,” said Teoli Kuhls. “He has played a critical role in improving the township’s budget document and enhancing communication with residents and businesses. His appointment as assistant township manager is well deserved and will allow Middletown to continue to enhance services provided to the community.”

Valla, who has a master’s degree in public administration from Villanova University, has assisted the township with implementation of the new neighborhood signs, increasing public information distribution, and assisted with collective bargaining to software implementation.
The new assistant township manager is involved with the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, Villanova University, and he is a classically-trained violinist that currently performs with Orchestra Concordia in Delaware County.
