A person was struck and killed by a SEPTA train late Friday night.
The incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. on the Trenton Line in Bristol Borough. A SEPTA Regional Rail train on the Amtrak-owned rails struck the person in the area of the Bristol Train Station, according to authorities.

A SEPTA Silverliner V train stopped near the station as local police, firefighters, and the transit agency police handled the death.
Investigators remained at the scene into early Saturday morning.
Due to the late hour, there was little impact on SEPTA service.
