A woman survived after being shot late at night on July 4th following celebrations in Bristol Township.
Lawrence Nathanial Berry, 25, of Bristol Township, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, and single counts of possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. He was arraigned Sunday morning and jailed on 10 percent of $750,000.

Four Bristol Township police officers were dispatched to Mitchell Road in the Bloomsdale-Fleetwing section of the township for a for a disturbance around 11:10 p.m. on Independence Day. They arrived and saw a “large crowd” dispersing after an altercation following fireworks being ignited, according to court papers.
An officer was flagged down and learned Berry had fired a gun earlier following a fight between two women. Later, Berry returned and “opened fire down the street towards and unknown male,” police said, adding a second witness confirmed the story.
While at the scene, an officer was diverted to Lower Bucks Hospital for a gunshot victim who arrived, police said.

A 22-year-old woman reported she was in the neighborhood watching fireworks when a fight broke out between two women. The woman said gunshots rang out and she began running. She ended up being struck in the back of her left thigh, according to police.
The woman’s injury consisted of a bullet ripping through her thigh and exiting out the front, police said.

A black GMC Yukon with a shot out rear window was located. Its driver reported she was parked in the 5700 block of Mitchell Road with her two, 2 year old grandchildren when shots rang out. The SUV’s rear window was shot out and a bullet skimmed the inside of the vehicle before coming to rest near the rear floorboard, police said.
Berry is alleged to have told officers that he had two handguns – a Glock 43 9mm pistol and a Springfield .45 pistol. He explained he used the Glock to fire shots in the air to disperse the fight, police said.
