The Levittown area was hit by hail, strong gusts, and heavy rain Monday afternoon.
Pop-up storms moved through the area around lunchtime and disrupted the afternoon. A chance for more strong storms exists through the rest of Monday afternoon and into the evening.
Forecasters issued a Flood Watch, Severe Thunderstorm Warning, and Flash Food Warning for the area.
As of 2:15 p.m., about 3,900 PECO customers were without service across the area. The largest outages were in Bristol Township and Falls Township.
Downed trees and wires were reported, including along busy New Falls Road.
