St. Mary Medical Center Continues To Collect Supplies

St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown continues to collect medical supplies as part of its response to COVID-19.

The hospital, which is operated byย Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking numerous supplies to aid staff due to shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

St. Mary Medical Center has treated several COVID-19 patients and continues to treat non-COVID-19 patients others in its emergency department.

The hospital is accepting donations of:

  • Powered air purifying respirators (PAPRs)ย 
  • Regular masks
  • N95 masks
  • Face shields
  • Gowns
  • Surgical caps/protective caps
  • Eyeglass shields/goggles
  • Nasal testing swabs
  • M4 Viral Media
  • Lysol or Clorox Wipes
  • Hand sanitizerย 
  • Transparency sheets

Residents and businesses with medical supplies that can be donated are asked to do so Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at theย St. Mary Medical Center’s Carty Conference Center (behind hospital and left of the Emergency Room) atย 1201 Langhorne-Newtown Road.

The Bucks County community – both individuals and businesses – have stepped forward to donate supplies to the local hospitals and also purchase meals for staff.

Along with the hospitals, county government has worked to procure medical supplies through the federal government and vendors.

Dโ€™Antonio told LevittownNow.com thatย Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is “closely monitoring our personal protective equipment and are focused on ensuring we do all we can to keep our colleagues and patients safe.”ย 

The hospital said they are working to stay ahead of supply shortages and prepare for a potential surge in patients.
