Raid Of Property Uncovers Suspected Meth, Detectives Say

A late Wednesday afternoon raid of a Bristol Township property by police armed with patrol rifles and tactical gear led to the arrest of a man and the discovery of suspected methamphetamine.

William G. Friemann Jr., 52, of Bristol Township, was arraigned just before midnight Wednesday on charges of  manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility by on-call District Judge Daniel Finello Jr. in lieu of 10 percent of $50,000 bail.

Friemann, according to court papers, was under investigation by the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force for the sale of “large amount of of methamphetamine” from his home in the 5100 block of Bristol-Emilie Road.

During the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday, law enforcement found suspected meth, digital scales, owe sheets, different-sized bags, and other items often used in the packaging of drugs. In addition, used bags of heroin and fentanyl and syringes loaded with heroin and fentanyl were prepared for use, detective said.

Friemann spoke with investigators during an interview and said he purchased drugs in bulk amount for his significant other to support her addition, court papers stated.

Detectives said they also found loaded firearms, including a shotgun with a shorten barrel and a bullet-proof vest.

Following the raid, detectives from the county and several police departments were at the home into Wednesday evening as they gathered evidence.
