An officer in the area of the Penndel Pub on Lincoln Highway observed a vehicle leave the parking lot and make a turn onto Lincoln Highway. While the vehicle made the turn, it continued through the lanes of travel and ended up on the wrong side of the road where it continued until the driver was able to correct his path onto the correct side of the road. While on the correct side of the road, the vehicle continued to weave from lane to lane. The vehicle was stopped and and contact was made with the driver and sole occupant, a 54-year-old man. While speaking to the man, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from his breath and person. The man was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he was unable to complete. The man was arrested for suspected DUI. The man was transported to the ER for a blood draw where he refused. Charges to be filed.

An officer utilizing a license plate reader came across a registration that had expired in 2018 and was on a different vehicle than it was registered to. A stop was conducted of the vehicle and contact was made with the driver and sole occupant, a 34-year-old woman. A check of her license found that it was suspended for a DUI related reason. In plain view on the passenger side of the vehicle in a handbag was a green leafy substance that was consistent with marijuana. The 34-year-old woman was arrested for the possession of the suspected marijuana. A search of the handbag found paraphernalia and loose pills with no prescription. Charges pending the outcome of lab testing.

Arrest
An officer on patrol observed a vehicle traveling on Lincoln Hwy that had no functioning brake or tail lights. A stop of the vehicle was conducted and contact was made with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 30-year-old woman. A check of her license status also returned an active warrant for the woman. She was arrested and transported to the Penndel police station to await the arrival of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. She was released into their custody upon their arrival.

An officer in the area of the 7-Eleven on Lincoln Highway observed a vehicle leave the parking lot in a wrong direction against a posted sign. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, a 24-year-old man and a woman. While speaking with the occupants, the distinct odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. The occupants were asked to step from the vehicle for a search. While conducting a pat down of the occupants, a clear plastic baggie with marijuana was found on the 24-year-old man. He was arrested for possession and charges are pending the outcome of lab testing.
February 26

An officer observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on LeGrande Avenue. The vehicle was stopped on Lincoln Highway and contact was made with the driver and sole occupant, a 23-year-old man. While speaking with the man, the distinct smell of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, a small baggie of suspected marijuana was discovered along with loose pills without a prescription. The man was arrested for possession of the pills and marijuana. Charges to be filed upon the outcome of lab testing.
