
Bristol Township’s deputy manager is getting top job.
On Monday evening, Bristol Township Council voted to appoint Randee Elton as township manager.

Elton was hired by Bristol Township in November 2015 worked as assistant township manager in Warminster and community development director in Lower Providence, Montgomery County. In 2018, she was promoted to Bristol Township deputy township manager and has filled in as acting township manager since Bill McCauley left late last year.

I look forward to working with this Council and the dedicated members of township staff to achieve extraordinary service for our residents and businesses. Council President Craig Bowen said the Council has confidence in Elton’s ability to lead the township.

“She’s brings experience and has done a good job. This is her time,” he said.
Elton has a master’s degree in public administration from Villanova University and a bachelor’s in Urban Planning from Arizona State University.

Elton earns $120,000 per year, Bowen said.
While McCauley is no longer the manager, he is expected to assist Bristol Township into mid 2020 as part of his severance agreement. He will earn about $105,000 next year, according to budget documents.
