Bristol Township has a new deputy township manager.

Operations analyst/project manager Randee Elton has been named the deputy township manager. Her promotion filled the position left empty last month when former Deputy Township Manager Scott Swichar accepted the position of manager of East Fallowfield in Center County.

“Randee Elton earned this promotion over the past two years and our administration will continue to excel with her as Deputy Township Manager,” Township Manager Bill McCauley said. “She has done a remarkable job with everything she has been assigned, especially the very successful Blight Abatement Program.”

Elton came to Bristol Township in November 2015 after a job as assistant township manager in Warminster and community development director in Lower Providence. She has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Villanova University and a bachelor’s in Urban Planning from Arizona State University.

Officials said Elton will earn $94,000 a year.

“The township was extremely fortunate to attract someone with Randee’s education, training and experience,” McCauley said. “Now I am taking this action to keep her with Bristol Township for many years to come.”
