The owners of a local diner have purchased some land from the county.
The Gunaydin family that owns the Golden Eagle Diner at the corner of Bath Street and Route 13 entered in an agreement of sale recently with Bucks County to purchase a smaller-than-an acre piece of property (find out here about property advice) that abuts their eatery. The land is selling for $70,000.

A bulk of the land being purchased has been leased by the diner owners for their side parking lot.
The county continues to own the retention basin and surrounding grassy area, which sits in Bristol Borough and a portion of Bristol Township that extends across Route 13.
While the diner has leased a part of the land for their parking lot, PennDOT previously leased the larger area of the lot for the jug handle that was removed when Route 13 was updated a few years ago, Bucks County General Services Director Kevin Spencer said.

“Essentially, the county doesn’t need the land that is being sold,” Spencer said.
