A popular local historic site is hosting a free Halloween event this Sunday.
Pennsbury Manor in Falls Township will host their free 10th Annual Tricks and Treats at the Manor from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature candy, 17th century craft demonstrations, the Heritage Dancers of Brandywine will be performing and teaching colonial country dances, kid’s crafts and games, a corn maze, a cornhole tournament between Hannah Penn and William Penn Jr. who had a bitter rivalry over owning and running the colony following Penn’s death.
Pennsbury Manor will also be participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project by offering non-food treats and games, in addition to candy.
Kids from around the region are invited to wear their costumes to the event.

Last year, the event at William Penn’s former homestead drew more than 800 people.
