The attorney for the couple that owns a Bristol Township wig shop said a group of crooks left a mess behind and one of the owners with a fractured back.
Last Friday morning, a group of teen and adult women walked into Gold Star Hair and Wig in Bristol Plaza on Durham Road near the intersection of Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Bath Road. The women began taking part in the theft of merchandise, said attorney Bill Goldman, who represents the Moon family that owns the store.

“They helped themselves to items for sale,” he explained. “Then they fled.”
The couple – Young and Ki Moon – that owns the store went outside to follow the four women. At that point, the getaway car allegedly struck Ki Moon, Goldman told LevittownNow.com.
A photo that circulated on social media and was first sent to this news organization shortly after the incident shows Ki Moon on the ground next to a car.

Goldman said Ki Moon was taken to the hospital and learned she fractured a back. Although she survived, the injury is painful.
Sources stated that police were investigating a gun that may have been fired during the incident. No one was struck by a bullet.

Police did not respond to calls and messages on Friday and Monday.
Goldman declined to provide further details out of respect to the Moons and ongoing police investigation.
No charges had been filed in the case as of Monday evening.

Young and Ki Moon have operated the wig store for years and are the parents of Jae Sik Moon. Their son, a 21-year-old U.S. Army first sergeant, was killed on December 25, 2006 when an improvised explosive device detonated near the Humvee he was riding in during his second tour of duty in Iraq.
