Neshaminy Nighttime Custodian Who Also Worked For County Pleads Guilty

A nighttime custodian for the Neshaminy School District whose day job was with the county has pleaded guilty to unlawful contact with a minor and attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

Kevin Eugene Sager, 46, of Northampton, pleaded guilty before Bucks County Judge Wallace Bateman on Tuesday and will be sentenced in 90 days following an evaluation by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

Sager allegedly asked what he thought was a 14-year-old boy to send him a nude photo via an electronic device. He also made plans to meet to meet the boy “in secret” before traveling to meet the teen. The 14-year-old boy turned out to be a special agent from the attorney general’s office.

Sager reportedly said he knew the conversation was wrong, but he was curious to meet up with the boy.

“The defendant was a public employee and also worked as a custodian at a local school,” said Attorney General Josh Shapiro. “Meanwhile, he was preying on someone he believed to be a child online. Thanks to the hard work of our Child Predator Section, he admitted to his crimes in court today, and he is no longer in a position where he can exploit children. My Office will investigate and pursue anyone who poses a threat to our children, no matter who they are.”

Sager worked during the day as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper with the Bucks County Planning Commission. He resigned from the job when the arrest happened.
